You’re out there using your New Holland when it suddenly sputters and shuts off, only to start running smoothly again a moment later. Before you start replacing parts, what should you look at first, fuel, air, sensors, wiring, or maybe something unusual?

Happened to me about a week ago. Running fine for half an hour moving snow, start moving some pallets and a quick shut down. Not like a clogged fuel line. Just dies off. Minute later starts right up runs fine for 4-5 minutes shuts down. Felt like a bad coil on a gas engine. Like when the coil heats up and the winding separates, but then it cools and reconnects until it heats up agin. Was also thinking maybe water/ice in the fuel. Had several days of single digit temperatures. Finished what I needed to do and parked it till it warms up.
