Hi, I have a NH L218, 900 hours, 2014 year. It has the Shibaura 844 engine. I was servicing the whole machine and decided to check the glow plugs. I pulled them and bought new ones from CNH. The new plugs are shorter than ones I pulled out. About 1 3/8" longer. The plugs I bought are correct. The ones in it were NGK so I searched and they were all in the correct part number packaging. The previous owner had dealers always service it. He said it was always hard starting when new. He also said that the dealer told him they just had high compression. Anyway, looking at the new plugs, 3 are NGK and one is a CAT branded one. Apparently when CNH phased out the NGK, they replaced it with CAT ones? All the bags were sealed from the factory. Can I safely put the CAT with the others or will it cause an issue? Please give me some insight. I live in the boonies so I have order everything. My machine is torn apart and I hate to have it down so long. I'm in the UP of Michigan and I need it to push snow.
