Fuel filter is stuck on lx 665.

Tried filter wrench on fuel filter on lx665 and filter won't budge.
Any ideas?

Try applying some PB Blaster penetrating oil around the base and let it rest for about 10 minutes. If you can, use a strap wrench or an impact tool. Just remember to turn it counterclockwise gently. You can also carefully heat the filter housing with a propane torch before trying to take it off. When you're putting in the new filter, make sure to replace the rubber gasket

Strap wrench and a little patience usually do the trick or if it comes down to it , drive a screwdriver through it and twist it off.

Tap the wrench with a rubber mallet to break it loose, but yo try not to crush the filter lol
