Any advice would be a huge help. I'm helping a local farmer with his TS 110 tractor and it's giving us some trouble. It has about 5000 hours on it and the 16x16 transmission.

The tractor just stops and shows an E59 code with a beeping sound.

Does anyone know what this code means and what's the fix for it? What are the common causes for an E59 code on these tractors?

Okay, so E59 on a TS110 usually points to a transmission control issue. Start by checking the speed sensors and how the wires are connected. If that doesn't turn up anything, you'll probably need to get it scanned. It could be a bad TCM or maybe just a hydraulic pressure sensor acting up

E59 usually means the tractor’s not sure if it’s in forward or reverse, so it won’t move. If I were you, I would take a look at the shuttle lever and the switches under the cab to see if anything’s loose or dirty. Did it get wet recently or have any wiring work done near the transmission?

Also, take a look at the clutch pedal position sensor. If it's not lined up right or going bad, that could be what's causing the E59 error and stopping you from shifting gears.
