What kind of gear have you picked up to boost how aware you are on the job and keep everyone safe at the site?

I wear a high-visibility vest, safety glasses, and a hard hat that has a built-in radio so I can communicate constantly. This gear really helps me stay on my toes and keeps the team in sync.

I couldn't agree more, safety is huge with these machines! The best upgrade we made was a fork-tip camera system. A regular backup camera helps, but having a clear, dedicated view right where the load is going, especially when stacking high or reaching into trailers, drastically improves precision and stability. We also got a white-noise broadband alarm. It's less irritating to everyone on site but does a much better job of letting pedestrians know exactly where the machine is, even through earplugs. Those two things have made a real difference in daily awareness!
