Rust prevention tips for older tractors

I’d love to know what tricks you've got up your sleeve for keeping your older tractor looking sharp and free from rust. Any favorite products or routines you swear by? Share your secrets!

To keep rust away, remember to keep things clean and dry. Moisture helps rust grow. I like using Fluid Film on metal that's out in the open, and I fix paint chips as soon as I can. If you can, keep things inside. Also, put rust converter on spots that get worn down a lot before you repaint them.

Hey, make sure you wax those painted surfaces every year. It keeps the water out. And don't forget to put some dielectric grease on those electrical connectors that are out in the open. It'll stop them from rusting.

I'm with the first comment. I usually just wash and dry it after using, store it indoors, and regularly apply rust inhibitors and protective coatings
