P2098 code on my T6.180

My T6.180 has an ongoing hydraulic issue.. It works fine cold, but once it heats up, the hydraulic pressure and flow drop noticeably. The dash throws a P2098 code, which self-clears after a minute or two. I replaced the coil on the dump valve, but that didn't help.

The dealer checked it a couple of months back and said the hydraulics were in spec, but the problem persists. Could this be internal wear, causing an issue only when the oil is hot and thin? Any ideas on what's causing this specific code and the hydraulic performance drop? Any advice would be a big help!!

I'd say you check your oil viscosity and temp, and consider having the SCV flow tested under heat, sometimes you see that’s where the problem shows itself

@reddzoom_45 I don't think P2098 code is a hydraulic code. it's usually an engine/emissions fault (FPT engine stuff). It might be throwing the tractor into a soft derate (limp mode), which limits hydraulic flow to reduce engine load. Have you checked the DEF system/sensors?

Hey, also check the priority valve and load-sensing circuit, heat can show any wear or sticking. Keep an eye on the pump's command signals through diagnostics to be sure the ECU isn't cutting down the flow.
