New Holland 775 Skid steer hydraulics not working

My hydraulics were not working so I put more hydraulic fluid in and over filled it. The additioal fluid didn't help. when I pulled the filter on the top of the tank it doesn't look like fluid is even going through it. Any suggestions.

I ran into the same problem after I overfilled it, too much fluid can actually block the return flow and cause the pump to be starved of fluid. I suggest draining it back to the right level, ensuring the suction filter is primed, and then cycling the system to get rid of any air. That worked perfectly for mine.

Overfilling was probably unnecessary, your real problem sounds like a clogged suction strainer or failed pump, not low fluid. I'd check the suction line and pump inlet first before adding anything else.

I agree with them! Have you tried checking the suction strainer inside the tank if your setup has one? And also those hoses and fittings for cracks or loose connections that could let air in?

If the pump is worn or its drive is damaged it may also fail to pull fluid. Making sure you test the pump output pressure and flow could help narrow it down.
