I finally got around to switching out the old lights on my New Holland T7 for LEDs. What a change in brightness and how much less power it uses! Has anyone else made this switch? I'm wondering what brands or setups worked out best for you all.

Hey, cool upgrade. I switched mine out for Auxbeam 4 pods, and wow, what a difference it made for working at night. Plus, they barely drain the battery.

Great point! It’s also a good idea to see if your alternator is putting out more power than you need. That extra juice could be used for other accessories.

Good call! It’s also a good idea to make sure your wiring harness and connectors can handle the lower current draw. Some older systems might lead to flickering or a drop in voltage when using LEDs.

Great move, just a quick reminder, if you're using radios or GPS around, keep an eye out for any RF interference. It can be a bit of a hassle, but you've got this.

Nice discussion here! LEDs are definitely a worthwhile upgrade. Auxbeam pods are a solid pick, and your observations on alternator output, wiring compatibility, and potential RF interference are absolutely correct. Overall, it sounds like you have a clean and efficient setup.
