Suddenly, every single move becomes a challenge for both traction and your patience. How's your machine performing in these tricky conditions this season? I’ve been dealing with that same struggle lately. Once my machine warms up, it works fine, but those first few passes feel like I’m dragging a heavy anchor. Lowering the tire pressure a bit has really helped me get better traction.

Yeah, I’ve had some mornings where the mix of mud and ice nearly made me slide sideways. My New Holland manages it pretty well, but I’ve been taking it slow, making steady passes and keeping the bucket low for stability. It’s not the most graceful approach, but it gets the job done.

This season has been tough. I thought it would be a quick cleanup, but I ended up spending half the time trying to get myself out of ruts. Putting chains on the rear tires made a huge difference for me—once I did that, the whole job felt a lot less stressful.
