Extreme heat...

I'm experiencing extreme heat near the right side pedal on my 2017 Boomer 55. I've made contact with the dealership and they don't seem to have any solutions. Anyone out there with some suggestions??

Some Boomer owners have traced heat issues like that to poor insulation near the exhaust or coolant lines on the right side. Have you checked for any loose panels or missing heat shielding? Adding some reflective wrap or a heat barrier might work

It's ridiculous how many compact tractors have poor heat shielding by design, manufacturers cut corners, then dealerships act clueless. If it's burning your leg, they should be fixing it, not brushing it off

The only heat shield is that which is closely around the exhaust system. The new Boomers have a shield similar to JD...
