Turbo lag on my New Holland: sensor, exhaust, or intake?

Lately, I've noticed some turbo lag on my New Holland tractor, and it's driving me a bit crazy.
It hesitates before the turbo kicks in, almost like it's in a daze. Is it a moody sensor, a blocked exhaust, or perhaps an intake issue?

Did you check if your clamp is loose on the intercooler piping? Also make sure to check the rubber intake boots for cracks and swap out your fuel filters just to be safe.
