I remember my family cramming into our tiny living room, plates precariously balanced on our laps, while someone would always launch into those legendary family tales. Those moments truly capture the essence of Thanksgiving for me. What about you? What memories come to mind?

What a lovely memory! For me it was always my grand uncle’s place during the holidays. He had this old wooden stove that made the whole house feel like a sauna and we’d all gather around it with our plates while he recounted the same wild hunting stories. Looking back that warm chaos is what I remember most fondly.

For me, the highlight was always those backyard football games that followed the big meal. All the cousins would rush outside, and those scrappy matches became just as much a part of our tradition as the turkey itself.
