What steps have you taken to diagnose whether the lag is coming from a mechanical or electronic source?

I work my way from the basics up to the more complex stuff.
I start with the fluids and hoses, move on to the belts, and then go into diagnostics.
If it’s still lagging after all that, it’s likely a software issue at that point.

I typically break it down into two parts, I test the manual controls and sensors first, then look at the live data to see if they align.
If they don’t, you’ve likely pinpointed the problem. It’s a good way to save both time and frustration.

I start by checking the pressures, belts, and fluids before diving into any software issues.
If those basics are off, no amount of recalibrating is going to solve any underlying mechanical problems.

I prefer to rule out hardware quickly. I take a look at the gauge on the pump, do a quick check of the belts, and then see if there are any codes.
If everything checks out, that’s when I start considering software as a potential issue.
