Swapped out the hydraulic motor under the steering column on my 2008 T2420. TBH I thought it would stop the power steering fluid leak that was dripping onto the cab floor. Fired it up again… and now power steering fluid is pouring from under the cab. What I did next was tried checking for cracks or obvious damage but, DANG, it's HARD. I can't even pinpoint exactly where it's leaking from. The lines or pipes might be the issue, but I found out they're no longer available.
Anyone been through something similar? Is there a hydraulic shop that could forge new lines if they are the problem? Right now I've got no steering, no fluid retention, and no clue what to do next.
I'm stuck and need your help. Please.
