My T7 is throwing sensor codes around like confetti, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s a faulty sensor or just some wiring gremlin lurking about.
What’s your go-to method for tracking these down?
Do you backprobe connectors, check resistance values, or do wiggle tests before spending money on sensors that might not even be the culprit?

Confetti codes can be such a hassle. I usually kick things off with a wiggle test and a quick check of the connectors. If something changes, it’s definitely a wiring issue before I start pointing fingers at the poor sensor.

Been there, done that. I make sure to clean the connectors, backprobe for voltage, and wiggle the harness around. If the readings start jumping, it’s usually a sneaky wire playing tricks, not the sensor itself.

I tackle it step by step, first a visual inspection, then a wiggle test, followed by backprobing and checking resistance.
Most of the time, it’s just corrosion or a cracked wire trying to masquerade as a faulty sensor.
