Alright folks! So, when you spot a hydraulic leak a cylinder acting up or anything else looking kinda sus, what's the first thing you check? I'm curious to hear what you guys do to figure things out, any tips for spotting problems early on and any tricks you've picked up to keep small issues from turning into major headaches.

First thing I do, I check the hoses. Trust me, learned that the hard way after spending hours tracking down a leak, and it was just a little crack near the fitting.

Seals are my next thing to check. Had a cylinder give me trouble before, and it ended up being a worn-out seal. Catching it early kept me from having to do big repairs.

I always peek at the fluid levels right off the bat. Got into this habit after I ran low once and fried a pump. Now, it’s the first thing I look at.
