Cold weather or mud which slows you down more?

Reflecting on how winter work always seems to come with its own set of challenges. Sometimes it’s the chill that slows you down, and other times it’s the muddy ground. Really curious to hear which one you find more troublesome on the job.

Cold gets to me every time. Mud? I can live with it. But when my fingers freeze and stuff takes forever to get going, I just lose steam. Freezing mornings are way worse than any muddy patch.

After a lot of winters, mud is more of a pain than the cold. Slipping and getting bogged down eats up way more time than just layering up and toughing it out in the cold.

It really depends on what I'm doing, but mud's usually the bigger problem. Sure, cold slows you down, but mud can stop you dead. There's nothing like wasting half your day just trying to get unstuck from the mud.
