This year, I tackled a few New Holland projects that really pushed me to my limits, especially those that seemed straightforward at first. It got me thinking about how others navigated their own challenges. So, which project tested you the most in 2025?

I just had to switch out a simple hydraulic hose on my New Holland. Should've been a ten-minute thing, but I ended up fighting with the fittings for a whole hour. Talk about a test of patience!

I tackled a steering problem that I thought was just a matter of adding fluid. Turns out, it was a worn seal way deeper than I thought. I learned a lot about the system, but man, it really put me through the wringer this year.

The worst one was when I rebuilt the loader valve thingy. I thought I could just take it apart and reseal it, easy peasy. But every step seemed to reveal another busted part or a sticky thing. I spent the whole weekend cleaning, tweaking, and putting it back together until it finally worked right. Hands down, that project tested my patience and taught me the most in 2025.
