Ever had one of those days when the weather just doesn’t want to cooperate? Whether it’s scorching heat, torrential rain, or biting cold, working outside can really test your patience.

So, how do you cope with the tough weather when there’s still work to be done?

Cold mornings were the worst stiff hands and machines that didn't want to work. I learned to warm stuff up slowly, keep extra gloves around, and not rush. That's from working outside for hours where you couldn't just stop because of the weather.

Nevada's killer heat meant waking up super early. I'd pack up before the sun came up, finish before noon so I didn't die or my stuff didn't melt.

Rain always made me think about dragging supplies through mud. I'd take it easy, wear more clothes, and have covers ready. Being chill helped get stuff done, even when things were a mess.
