rodent damage on a New Holland 3010s

I'm trying to fix my instrument cluster after rodents chewed through the wiring. It’s got the standard fuel, temp, tach, and hour gauges, but I’m stuck on the RPM and hour meter.
I was looking for a mechanical speed cable, but there isn't one. Even the service manual wiring diagram I bought completely skips the tach and hour meter! Does anyone know how these actually get their signal? Is it coming off the alternator or a sensor somewhere else?
Any help would be a lifesaver!

As you can see in the parts cataloyge attached there is supposed to be a cabel for the tachometer.

Good eye! Those parts diagrams are incredibly useful. It appears that the tachometer is cable-driven based on the catalog, even though the wiring diagram leaves it out. Rodent damage certainly makes things a bit murky here.

I believe the 3010 tach/hour meter is electronic. So it reads RPMs from the alternator's W terminal (that AC pulse thing), not a cable. It counts hours when it senses that signal or when the ignition is on.
