dealing with a front wheel failure on my NH TT75A. I'm trying to follow the parts diagram, but the washer placement (#18) is confusing
is it one washer or two? and do they go before or after the bearings?

currently, the lock washer isn't sitting flush, and I'm worried about the whole thing backing off again
if you've rebuilt a New Holland TT series front end, please let me know the correct sequence for the washers and nut. thanks, guys!

Last winter I redid the front end on my TT75A and that washer gave me trouble too.
There are two washers in that stack, and both go after the outer bearing but before the nut.
If you don't put them there, it won’t fit right.

I ran into the same problem on a customer’s TT75A. The lock washer only fits right after both bearings are set and the flat washer is on first. If you don’t do that, it looks wrong and comes loose.

I've rebuilt a TT series before, and the diagram isn't very helpful. You should have a flat washer and a lock washer, and both go outside the bearing. If the lock washer doesn’t sit flat, something is backward.
